Bollstanäs SK

Bollstanäs SK was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Bollstanäs SK, 64 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof Bollstanäs SK could be found in Group 13 together with Värmdö IF, Premier Soccer Academy and Lillestrøm SK. Bollstanäs SK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 13. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IFK Lidingö FK with 0-2. In the Final, IFK Göteborg won over BK Häcken 2 and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 17. Bollstanäs SK comes from Upplands Väsby which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Upplands Väsby does also provide 62 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Hässelby SK FF, IFK Lidingö, Boo FF, Järla IF, EKF Täby, Viginti Quattuor FC, Sigtuna City FK, IFK Haninge, IFK Bergshamra and Rågsveds IF).
