Skurups AIF

Skurups AIF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Skurups AIF, 74 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Skurups AIF could be found in Group 17 together with IFK Aspudden-Tellus, Medkila IL and Högbo AIK. Skurups AIF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Ulricehamns IFK with 0-1. In the Final, Mölnlycke IF won over New Mill FC and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. Skurups AIF also participated in Girls 15 during Gothia Cup 2022. They reached the 1/32 Final in G15 Play off B, but lost it against Västra Karups IF with 2-3. Skurups AIF comes from Skurup which lies approximately 270 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skurup does also provide 29 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Ystads IF FF, FC Staffanstorp, Torns IF, Kungsbacka IF, GIF Nike, Uppåkra IF, Lunds BoiS/Torns IF, Lilla Torg FF, FC Bellevue Futureteam and Veberöds AIF).
