Storvreta IK

Storvreta IK was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Storvreta IK, 111 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Storvreta IK could be found in Group 1 together with Eimsbütteler TV, Rælingen FK and Falköpings KIK. Storvreta IK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Stångebro United with 0-2. In the Final, Stångebro United won over Lindö FF Norrköping and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Storvreta comes from Storvreta which lies approximately 410 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Storvreta does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Bälinge IF, Sigtuna City FK, Dalkurd FF, Upsala IF, Gamla Upsala SK, Vaksala SK, Sunnersta AIF, Örsundsbro IF, IK Uppsala Fotboll and IK Sirius FK).
