Tomelilla IF

Tomelilla IF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Tomelilla IF, 212 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof Tomelilla IF could be found in Group 46 together with Braishfield Bees FC, Florø SK and Korsnäs IF. Tomelilla IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 46. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Svärtinge SK with 0-3. In the Final, ED Moratalaz won over Lillestrøm SK 2 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. Tomelilla comes from Tomelilla which lies approximately 270 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Tomelilla does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Ystads IF FF, Veberöds AIF and Skurups AIF).
