SM Fusion

SM Fusion was one of 46 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to SM Fusion, 212 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof SM Fusion could be found in Group 27 together with Edet FK, LPA Academy and Sandåkerns SK. SM Fusion continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 27. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Charterhouse School with 0-2. In the Final, Russell Martin Academy won over SK Sprint-Jeløy 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. SM Fusion comes from Mankato which lies approximately 6800 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
