Ardee Celtic

Ardee Celtic was one of four clubs from the Republic of Ireland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Ardee Celtic, 262 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 64 different groups, whereof Ardee Celtic could be found in Group 53 together with Bergdalens IK, Empire FC and Täby FK. Ardee Celtic continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 53. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Askims IK with 2-4. In the Final, IFK Stocksund 1 won over Hovås-Billdal IF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Ardee Celtic comes from Ardee which lies approximately 1200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Ardee Celtic, the club Louth Schoolgirls League does also originate from the area around Ardee.
