Pinneberg, VfL

Pinneberg, VfL was one of 70 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Pinneberg, VfL, 111 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Pinneberg, VfL could be found in Group 15 together with Karlbergs BK 1, Guildford Saints and HTF. Pinneberg, VfL continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Rælingen FK with 2-5. In the Final, Boo FF won over Northumberland County Schools FA and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 15. Pinneberg, comes from Pinneberg which lies approximately 480 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Pinneberg does also provide 30 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: SV Groß Borstel, SV Blankenese, Eimsbütteler TV, JFV Südholstein, SG FCU - Kisdorf, Altona 93, SV Uhlenhorst-Adler, Walddörfer SV, FC Este 2012 and SV West-Eimsbüttel).
