Gällstads FK

Gällstads FK was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 14B. In addition to Gällstads FK, 53 other teams from 12 different countries played in Boys 14B. They were divided into 13 different groups, whereof Gällstads FK could be found in Group 2 together with SG Findorff, IK Frej Täby 2 and IFK Kumla Red. Gällstads FK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Mjällby AIF with 1-3. In the Final, Saleby/Trässberg/Norra Härene won over Hisingsbacka FC and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14B. Gällstads FK comes from Gällstad which lies approximately 89 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Gällstad does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Ulricehamns IFK, Norrby IF, Toarpsalliansen, Bergdalens IK, Limmareds IF/Nittorps IK, Dalstorps IF and IF Elfsborg).
