IF Limhamn/Bunkeflo

IF Limhamn/Bunkeflo was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to IF Limhamn/Bunkeflo, 81 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof IF Limhamn/Bunkeflo could be found in Group 19 together with SK Sprint-Jeløy, Breidablik 3 and Onsala BK. IF Limhamn/Bunkeflo continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 19. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Hammarby IF FF with 0-1. In the Final, Hammarby IF FF won over KA 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 14. IF Limhamn/Bunkeflo also participated in Girls 13 during Gothia Cup 2022. They reached the 1/8 Final in G13 Play off A, but lost it against Vallens IF with 0-4. Limhamn/Bunkeflo comes from Limhamn Bunkeflo which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Limhamn Bunkeflo does also provide 36 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: IF Lödde, FC Staffanstorp, Torns IF, Kungsbacka IF, GIF Nike, Furulunds IK, Uppåkra IF, Lunds BoiS/Torns IF, Skanör-Falsterbo IF and Lilla Torg FF).
