Dösjöbro IF

Dösjöbro IF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Dösjöbro IF, 74 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Dösjöbro IF could be found in Group 14 together with Sjöstaden DFF, AS Laval, Landvetter IF and SC Alstertal-Langenhorn. Dösjöbro IF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against New Mill FC with 1-2. In the Final, Mölnlycke IF won over New Mill FC and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 16. Dösjöbro IF also participated in Girls 15 during Gothia Cup 2022. They reached the 1/32 Final in G15 Play off A, but lost it against U. de Chile with 0-2. Dösjöbro comes from Dösjebro which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Dösjebro does also provide 38 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: IF Lödde, FC Staffanstorp, Vendelsö IK, Torns IF, Kungsbacka IF, GIF Nike, Eskilsminne IF, Furulunds IK, Uppåkra IF and Lunds BoiS/Torns IF).
