Stensjöns IF

Stensjöns IF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Stensjöns IF, 262 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 64 different groups, whereof Stensjöns IF could be found in Group 17 together with Stange Sportsklubb, SV Rugenbergen and Jarlabergs IF 2. Stensjöns IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Torns IF 1 with 0-4. In the Final, IFK Stocksund 1 won over Hovås-Billdal IF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Stensjöns comes from Stensjön which lies approximately 170 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Stensjön does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Nässjö FF and Myresjö/Vetlanda FK).
