Myssjö/Ovikens IF

Myssjö/Ovikens IF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 14B. In addition to Myssjö/Ovikens IF, 30 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 14B. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Myssjö/Ovikens IF could be found in Group 3 together with ATSV Scharmbeckstotel, Boo FF F09, FC Unterstrass and Jönköpings Södra IF. Myssjö/Ovikens IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Altona 93 with 0-3. In the Final, Jönköpings Södra IF won over ATSV Scharmbeckstotel and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14B. Myssjö/Ovikens comes from Oviken which lies approximately 600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Oviken does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (IFK Östersund, Ope IF and Östersunds FK).
