Sätra IF

Sätra IF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Sätra IF, 262 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 64 different groups, whereof Sätra IF could be found in Group 12 together with Athletico SC, Torns IF 2, Jarlabergs IF 1 and Burgos CF. Sätra IF continued to Play off B after reaching 5:th place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Stala/Myckleby with 0-1. In the Final, IFK Stocksund 1 won over Hovås-Billdal IF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Sätra comes from Salbohed which lies approximately 350 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Salbohed does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: IFK Västerås FK, Västanfors IF, Barkarö SK, Skiljebo SK, IK Franke, Åkra FC, Fagersta Södra IK, Västerås IK, Sala FF and Västerås SK Ungdom).
