Barkarö SK

Barkarö SK was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 14B. In addition to Barkarö SK, 53 other teams from 12 different countries played in Boys 14B. They were divided into 13 different groups, whereof Barkarö SK could be found in Group 3 together with Hovås-Billdal IF 1, Fässbergs IF and Magnet Youth Sports Academy. Barkarö SK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against HSK/Frisco with 1-2. In the Final, Fässbergs IF won over IFK Kumla White and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14B. Barkarö SK comes from Västerås which lies approximately 330 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Västerås does also provide 18 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: IFK Västerås FK, Irsta IF, Skiljebo SK, IK Franke, AFC Eskilstuna, Torshälla-Nyby IS, Västerås IK, Munktorps BK, Eskilstuna United DFF and Jäders IF).
