IFK Skövde

IFK Skövde was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to IFK Skövde, 212 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof IFK Skövde could be found in Group 32 together with Sickla IF 2, KA 2 and LSA Academy. IFK Skövde continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 32. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Råsunda IS with 0-3. In the Final, ED Moratalaz won over Lillestrøm SK 2 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. IFK Skövde comes from Skö which lies approximately 130 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skö does also provide 10 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (IFK Tidaholm, Skövde KIK, Ardala GoIF, Tidaholms GIF, Ulvåkers IF, IFK Falköping FF, Skultorps IF, Våmbs IF, Falköpings KIK and Skövde AIK).
