Upsala IF

Upsala IF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Upsala IF, 262 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 64 different groups, whereof Upsala IF could be found in Group 6 together with Iconz Elite, Brommapojkarna DFF 2 and Keflavik. Upsala IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Torslanda IK with 3-4. In the Final, IFK Stocksund 1 won over Hovås-Billdal IF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Upsala comes from Uppsala which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Uppsala does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Bälinge IF, Sigtuna City FK, Dalkurd FF, Gamla Upsala SK, Storvreta IK, Vaksala SK, Sunnersta AIF, Örsundsbro IF, IK Uppsala Fotboll and Enköpings SK).
