Mälarhöjden/ Hägerstens FF

Mälarhöjden/ Hägerstens FF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Mälarhöjden/ Hägerstens FF, 81 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Mälarhöjden/ Hägerstens FF could be found in Group 17 together with Reading Rage, Breidablik 2 and Landvetter IF. Mälarhöjden/ Hägerstens FF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against KFV Segeberg with 0-2. In the Final, KFV Segeberg won over Jitex BK 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Mälarhöjden/ Hägerstens comes from Hägersten which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hägersten does also provide 65 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Hässelby SK FF, IFK Lidingö, Boo FF, Järla IF, EKF Täby, Viginti Quattuor FC, Sigtuna City FK, IFK Haninge, IFK Bergshamra and Rågsveds IF).
