Bälinge IF

Bälinge IF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Bälinge IF, 111 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Bälinge IF could be found in Group 7 together with Eskilsminne IF, Mantorps FF and Euro Soccer Academy. Bälinge IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Qviding FIF with 0-2. In the Final, Stångebro United won over Lindö FF Norrköping and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Bälinge comes from Bälinge which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Bälinge does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Dalkurd FF, Upsala IF, Gamla Upsala SK, Storvreta IK, Vaksala SK, Sunnersta AIF, Örsundsbro IF, IK Uppsala Fotboll and IK Sirius FK).
