Linghems SK

Linghems SK was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Linghems SK, 212 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof Linghems SK could be found in Group 4 together with Empire FC, Åkersberga FC Black and Lillestrøm SK 2. Linghems SK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Kävlinge Harrie FF with 1-2. In the Final, Russell Martin Academy won over SK Sprint-Jeløy 1 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 16. Linghems SK comes from Linghem which lies approximately 240 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Linghem does also provide 13 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Mantorps FF, IK Östria Lambohov, BK Ljungsbro, Svärtinge SK, Stångebro United, Borensbergs IF FK, IFK Norrköping, Tallboda IF, Linköpings FF and IK Sleipner).
