Orust FC F09

Orust FC was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Orust FC, 81 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Orust FC F09 could be found in Group 2 together with San Francisco Aftershocks, Vikingur 2 and Viggbyholms IK FF. Orust FC F09 continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against SK Sprint-Jeløy with 1-3. In the Final, KFV Segeberg won over Jitex BK 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Orust FC comes from Ellös which lies approximately 0 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Ellös does also provide 87 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Lundby IF, Hermansby IF, Kärra KIF, Mölnlycke IF, Älvängens IK, Proletären FF, Nödinge SK, Sävedalens IF, Lunden ÖBK and V. Frölunda IF).
