Stala/Myckleby

Stala/Myckleby was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Stala/Myckleby, 262 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 64 different groups, whereof Stala/Myckleby could be found in Group 2 together with Hammarby IF FF 2, Intercups MX and KFV Segeberg. Stala/Myckleby continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Upsala IF with 0-2. In the Final, IFK Stocksund 1 won over Hovås-Billdal IF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 15. Stala/Myckleby comes from Varekil which lies approximately 46 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Varekil does also provide 14 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Hermansby IF, Älvängens IK, Nödinge SK, Ytterby IS, IFK Valla, Stenungsunds IF, IFK Uddevalla, Herrestads AIF, Vallens IF and Edet FK).
