In addition to Islingby IK, 74 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 18 different groups, whereof Islingby IK could be found in Group 9 together with New Mill FC, Åsane IL and Norrala IF. Islingby IK continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Fredrikstad Fotballklubb with 2-4. In the Final, SV Eutingen won over AS Laval and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 16. Islingby IK also participated in Girls 15 during Gothia Cup 2022. They reached the 1/4 Final in G15 Play off A, but lost it against FC New England with 1-2.
