Bergums IF

Bergums IF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Bergums IF, 81 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Bergums IF could be found in Group 8 together with IFK Västerås FK 1, FC New England and Dorking Wanderers FC. Bergums IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IF Brommapojkarna with 1-7. In the Final, KFV Segeberg won over Jitex BK 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Bergums comes from Olofstorp which lies approximately 15 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Olofstorp does also provide 88 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Lundby IF, Hermansby IF, Kärra KIF, Mölnlycke IF, Älvängens IK, Proletären FF, Nödinge SK, Orust FC, Sävedalens IF and Lunden ÖBK).
