Alingsås KIK

Alingsås KIK was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Alingsås KIK, 111 other teams from 11 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Alingsås KIK could be found in Group 10 together with Marin FC, Råå IF and Karlbergs BK 2. Alingsås KIK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Sollentuna FK with 2-4. In the Final, Stångebro United won over Lindö FF Norrköping and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Alingsås KIK comes from Alingsås which lies approximately 40 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Alingsås does also provide 46 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Kärra KIF, Vårgårda IK, Älvängens IK, Nödinge SK, Sävedalens IF, Backatorp IF, Holmalunds IF, Qviding FIF, Partille IF and Bjärke).
