Sävedalens IF

Sävedalens IF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Sävedalens IF, 262 other teams from 30 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 64 different groups, whereof Sävedalens IF could be found in Group 18 together with Stugsunds IK, Manchester City Football Schools UAE, Eskilsminne IF 2 and Altona 93 1. Sävedalens IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 18. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against FC Bellevue with 0-5. In the Final, Burgos CF won over BK Höllviken/Skanör Falsterbo IF Black and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Sävedalens IF also participated in Boys 14 during Gothia Cup 2022. They reached the 1/8 Final in B14 Play off B, but lost it against Breidablik 2 with 5-6. Sävedalens comes from Sävedalen which lies approximately 7 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sävedalen does also provide 89 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Lundby IF, Hermansby IF, Kärra KIF, Mölnlycke IF, Älvängens IK, Proletären FF, Nödinge SK, Orust FC, Lunden ÖBK and V. Frölunda IF).
