Lindome GIF

Lindome GIF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Lindome GIF, 89 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof Lindome GIF could be found in Group 16 together with Fana Fotball, PSC Soccer and GIF Nike. Lindome GIF continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Qviding FIF with 1-2. In the Final, UF Comércio e Indústria won over Qviding FIF and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 18. Lindome GIF also participated in Boys 17 during Gothia Cup 2022. They reached the 1/32 Final in B17 Play off A, but lost it against Stenungsunds IF with 3-5. Lindome GIF comes from Lindome which lies approximately 14 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Lindome does also provide 85 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Lundby IF, Hermansby IF, Kärra KIF, Åsa IF, Mölnlycke IF, Älvängens IK, Proletären FF, Nödinge SK, Orust FC and Sävedalens IF).
