KF Velebit

KF Velebit was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to KF Velebit, 212 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 52 different groups, whereof KF Velebit could be found in Group 15 together with JSC Pitray-Olier Paris Red, Eslövs BK and Liverpool Algerie. KF Velebit continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Skövde AIK with 1-6. In the Final, ED Moratalaz won over Lillestrøm SK 2 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. KF Velebit originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 83 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Lundby IF, Hermansby IF, Kärra KIF, Mölnlycke IF, Älvängens IK, Proletären FF, Nödinge SK, Orust FC, Sävedalens IF and Lunden ÖBK).
