Skene IF

Skene IF was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Skene IF, 156 other teams from 27 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 39 different groups, whereof Skene IF could be found in Group 36 together with Boo FF 2, CD Mercedarios and FC New England. Skene IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 36. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against InterClubes with 0-3. In the Final, Kista SC won over Pozzuolo Calcio 2 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14. Skene comes from Skene which lies approximately 49 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skene does also provide 23 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Åsa IF, Mölnlycke IF, IFK Fjärås, HUS, Onsala BK, Norrby IF, Hestrafors IF, Öjersjö IF, Tölö IF and Bergdalens IK).
