Skärhamns IK

Skärhamns IK was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Girls 14B. In addition to Skärhamns IK, 30 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 14B. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Skärhamns IK could be found in Group 2 together with Makati FC, Tullinge TP and Walddörfer SV. Skärhamns IK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against ATSV Scharmbeckstotel with 4-5. In the Final, Jönköpings Södra IF won over ATSV Scharmbeckstotel and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14B. Skärhamns IK also participated in Girls 13 during Gothia Cup 2022. They reached the 1/8 Final in G13 Play off B, but lost it against Värtans IK with 2-7. Skärhamns comes from Skä which lies approximately 470 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skä does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (FC Djursholm, IF Karlstad Fotboll and Östers IF).
