HUS

HUS was one of 429 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2023. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to HUS, 89 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 22 different groups, whereof HUS could be found in Group 8 together with Chico Sporting Club, IFK Västerås FK and UAC Paris 12. HUS continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against LSA Academy with 0-3. In the Final, Utsiktens BK won over Live your world cup and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 18. HUS comes from Sä which lies approximately 37 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Sä does also provide 75 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2023 (Among others: Lundby IF, Åsa IF, Mölnlycke IF, Proletären FF, Orust FC, Sävedalens IF, Lunden ÖBK, V. Frölunda IF, IF Väster and Örgryte IS).
