IFK Göteborg

In addition to IFK Göteborg, 27 other teams played in SEF Trophy. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof IFK Göteborg could be found in Group 2 together with GIF Sundsvall, Landskrona BoIS and Vasalunds IF. IFK Göteborg made it to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Djurgårdens IF, which they won with 5-4. Thereby IFK Göteborg won the entire Play off A in SEF Trophy during Gothia Cup 2023. IFK Göteborg also participated in SEF Trophy during Gothia Cup 2022. They reached the 1/4 Final in SEF Play off A, but lost it against IF Brommapojkarna with 0-1.
