Woking FC

Woking FC was one of 23 clubs from England that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 17. In addition to Woking FC, 84 other teams from 20 different countries played in Boys 17. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Woking FC could be found in Group 8 together with Concordia Eschersheim, Academy Elite, Stenungsunds IF and Enebybergs IF. Woking FC continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against AFC Eskilstuna with 1-4. In the Final, AFC Eskilstuna won over Dalkurd FF and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 17. Woking FC comes from Woking, Surrey which lies approximately 990 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Woking, Surrey does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Regents Park FC, Prep Schools Lions, Prep Schools Pumas, Helena Romanes School, Prep Schools District and Phoenix Football Academy).
