Fässbergs IF

Fässbergs IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Fässbergs IF, 207 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof Fässbergs IF could be found in Group 40 together with SC Borgfeld eV, Färjestadens GoIF and Forsa IF. Fässbergs IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 40. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IFK Tumba FK with 1-2. In the Final, Maj FC won over Kärra Dragons and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Fässbergs comes from Möln which lies approximately 10 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Möln does also provide 66 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Älvängens IK, Ytterby IS, Qviding FIF, Askims IK, Stenkullen GoIK, Jonsereds IF, Sandarna BK, IK Zenith, Grunden Bois and Utbynäs SK).
