Skoftebyns IF

Skoftebyns IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Skoftebyns IF, 207 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof Skoftebyns IF could be found in Group 30 together with Gällivare SK, FC Bellevue and Kaltenkirchener TS. Skoftebyns IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 30. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Intercups MX with 1-4. In the Final, Maj FC won over Kärra Dragons and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Skoftebyns comes from Trollhättan which lies approximately 61 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Trollhättan does also provide 12 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Älvängens IK, Trollhättans FK, Stenungsunds IF, Vänersborgs IF, Vänersborgs FK, Trollhättans IF, Stala IF, Ljungskile SK, Orust FC and IFK Uddevalla).
