Halvorstorps IS

Halvorstorps IS was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Halvorstorps IS, 207 other teams from 21 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof Halvorstorps IS could be found in Group 51 together with Trosvik IF, Uppåkra IF and Jyväskylän Komeetat. Halvorstorps IS continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 51. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against The Kusasa Stars with 6-7. In the Final, Maj FC won over Kärra Dragons and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 15. Halvorstorps IS comes from Trollhättan which lies approximately 65 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Trollhättan does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Trollhättans FK, Skoftebyns IF, Vänersborgs IF, Vänersborgs FK, Trollhättans IF, Ljungskile SK, Orust FC, IFK Uddevalla and Skepplanda BTK/Lödöse Nygård IK).
