Segeltorps IF

Segeltorps IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to Segeltorps IF, 40 other teams from 6 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof Segeltorps IF could be found in Group 10 together with SK Sprint-Jeløy 1, Phoenix Football Academy and Askims IK 2. Segeltorps IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Älvsborg FF Blå with 2-4. In the Final, Lerums IS won over ATSV Scharmbeckstotel and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 13. Segeltorps comes from stockholm which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around stockholm does also provide 68 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Maj FC, EKF Täby, Sickla IF, FC Djursholm, Tyresö FF, Pershagens SK, Enskede IK, Djurgårdens IF, Värmdö IF and Skogås/Trångsunds FF).
