Vear IF

Vear IF was one of 34 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Vear IF, 152 other teams from 18 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 38 different groups, whereof Vear IF could be found in Group 22 together with Prep Schools Lions Green, Proletären FF 2 and IFK Aspudden-Tellus 1. Vear IF continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 22. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Grabfeld-Gallier with 0-2. In the Final, Gardanne Biver FC won over IFK Göteborg and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. Vear comes from Tønsberg which lies approximately 190 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Tønsberg does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Tune IL Fotball, HSV Fotball, SK Sprint-Jeløy and Trosvik IF).
