C.F Internacional Monterrey

C.F Internacional Monterrey was one of 16 clubs from Mexico that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Gothia Puma Trophy (B17). In addition to C.F Internacional Monterrey, 24 other teams from 10 different countries played in Gothia Puma Trophy (B17). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof C.F Internacional Monterrey could be found in Group 3 together with Montrouge FC 92, IF Elfsborg and GIF Sundsvall. C.F Internacional Monterrey continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Örebro SK with 0-5. In the Final, Malmö FF won over GAIS and became the winner of Play off B in Gothia Puma Trophy (B17). C.F Internacional Monterrey comes from MONTERREY which lies approximately 9400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
