Desert Rangers Dubai

Desert Rangers Dubai was one of 7 clubs from United Arab Emirates that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Desert Rangers Dubai, 150 other teams from 23 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 37 different groups, whereof Desert Rangers Dubai could be found in Group 14 together with Prep Schools Lions Green, Ramlösa Södra IF and Kortedala IF. Desert Rangers Dubai continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against E.C. Jordanésia with 0-1. In the Final, IFK Göteborg won over AS Meudon and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 14. Desert Rangers Dubai comes from Dubai which lies approximately 5000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Dubai does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Go-Pro Sports, Alliance FC, Empire Sports, Reach Target Sports, HITS and The Football Academy Dubai).
