Bro IK

Bro IK was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 17. In addition to Bro IK, 84 other teams from 20 different countries played in Boys 17. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Bro IK could be found in Group 4 together with West Florida Flames SC, VGA Saint Maur and Dalen KFF. Bro IK continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against SG Findorff with 0-1. In the Final, Groß Flottbek won over Altona 93 and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 17. Bro comes from Bro which lies approximately 380 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Bro does also provide 56 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Maj FC, Hisingsbacka FC, EKF Täby, Sickla IF, FC Djursholm, Danmarks IF, Pershagens SK, Djurgårdens IF, IFK Aspudden-Tellus and Sollentuna FK).
