Åre SLK

Åre SLK was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Åre SLK, 117 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 29 different groups, whereof Åre SLK could be found in Group 2 together with Empire Sports, Enebybergs IF and Bengtsfors IF. Åre SLK continued to Play off B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Piteå IF/MSSK 1 with 1-3. In the Final, Nässjö FF won over Lyn Fotball and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 15. Åre SLK comes from Åre which lies approximately 630 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
