Arna-Bjørnar

Arna-Bjørnar was one of 34 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 16. In addition to Arna-Bjørnar, 82 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 16. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof Arna-Bjørnar could be found in Group 12 together with VBR Star, Umeå Södra FF and Blentarps BK. Arna-Bjørnar made it to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 12. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Lillestrøm SK, which they won with 2-1. Thereby Arna-Bjørnar won the entire Play off A in Girls 16 during Gothia Cup 2022. Arna-Bjørnar comes from Arna which lies approximately 490 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Arna-Bjørnar, the club Fana Fotball does also originate from the area around Arna.
