FK Poprad

FK Poprad was the only club from Slovakia that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 17. In addition to FK Poprad, 84 other teams from 19 different countries played in Boys 17. They were divided into 20 different groups, whereof FK Poprad could be found in Group 20 together with Kungsbacka IF, FC New England and Stensätra IF. FK Poprad continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Imperial Future with 0-1. In the Final, AFC Eskilstuna won over Dalkurd FF and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 17. FK Poprad comes from Poprad which lies approximately 1100 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
