Vinslövs IF

Vinslövs IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Vinslövs IF, 66 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 16 different groups, whereof Vinslövs IF could be found in Group 9 together with Stjarnan 1, Lerums IS and Saint Ita's AFC. Vinslövs IF continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against FC Storm with 0-1. In the Final, Täby FK won over Skellefteå FF and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14. Vinslövs comes from Vinslöv which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Vinslöv does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (IFK Hässleholm, Hörby FF, IFK Knislinge, IFK Osby, Höörs IS, Vittsjö GIK, Broby IF, Åhus IF and Kristianstads DFF).
