Klepp IL

Klepp IL was one of 34 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 18. In addition to Klepp IL, 33 other teams from 7 different countries played in Girls 18. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Klepp IL could be found in Group 3 together with Kristianstads DFF, FC Djursholm and Qviding FIF. Klepp IL continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Avaldsnes IL with 1-4. In the Final, Avaldsnes IL won over IFK Göteborg and became the winner of Play off A in Girls 18. Klepp comes from KLEPPE which lies approximately 390 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around KLEPPE does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Nærbø IL and Viking FK).
