Runby IF

Runby IF was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 14B. In addition to Runby IF, 17 other teams played in Girls 14B. They were divided into 4 different groups, whereof Runby IF could be found in Group 4 together with Röbäcks IF, Allerums GIF, Hjuviks AIK and Tyresö FF 2. Runby IF continued to Play off B after reaching 5:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Karlbergs BK with 0-1. In the Final, Lira BK won over Sandsbro AIK and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 14B. Runby comes from Upplands Väsby which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Upplands Väsby does also provide 61 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Maj FC, Hisingsbacka FC, EKF Täby, Sickla IF, FC Djursholm, Tyresö FF, Danmarks IF, Djurgårdens IF, Skogås/Trångsunds FF and IFK Aspudden-Tellus).
