Galatasaray Lisesi

Galatasaray Lisesi was the only club from Türkiye that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Galatasaray Lisesi, 47 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 11 different groups, whereof Galatasaray Lisesi could be found in Group 2 together with Re Fotballklubb, Storvreta IK and Sollentuna FK. Galatasaray Lisesi continued to Play off B after reaching 4:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against BK Sport with 0-13. In the Final, St. Paul Blackhawks 1 won over KFV Segeberg and became the winner of Play off B in Girls 17. Galatasaray Lisesi comes from istanbul which lies approximately 2200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
