Högsby IK

Högsby IK was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 14B. In addition to Högsby IK, 42 other teams from 10 different countries played in Boys 14B. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof Högsby IK could be found in Group 1 together with LPS, Rönninge Salem Fotboll 1, Hovås-Billdal IF and Skövde AIK 1. Högsby IK continued to Play off B after reaching 5:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Norrtulls SK with 7-8. In the Final, Rönninge Salem Fotboll 1 won over JSSL Singapore and became the winner of Play off B in Boys 14B. Högsby comes from Högsby which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Högsby does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Oskarshamns AIK and Mönsterås GoIF).
