FC Rosengård

FC Rosengård was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to FC Rosengård, 152 other teams from 18 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 38 different groups, whereof FC Rosengård could be found in Group 35 together with Kungsbacka IF Vit, Uran Lukowica and IFK Österåker. FC Rosengård continued to Play off A after reaching 1:st place in Group 35. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Stångebro United 1 with 2-3. In the Final, Gardanne Biver FC won over IFK Göteborg and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 13. FC Rosengård comes from Malmö which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Malmö does also provide 37 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Trollenäs IF, FIFH, Furulunds IK, Linero IF, Oxie SK, Lunds BoiS/Torns IF, Uppåkra IF, Dösjöbro IF, IF Limhamn/Bunkeflo and Lilla Torg FF).
