IFK Skövde FK

IFK Skövde FK was one of 400 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2022. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to IFK Skövde FK, 166 other teams from 23 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 41 different groups, whereof IFK Skövde FK could be found in Group 35 together with US Montesson, Asmara Sport Club and Skillingaryds IS. IFK Skövde FK continued to Play off A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 35. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IFK Haninge with 0-1. In the Final, Vikingur 1 won over Stjarnan 1 and became the winner of Play off A in Boys 16. IFK Skövde FK comes from Skövde which lies approximately 130 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Skövde does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2022 (Among others: Götene IF, IFK Tidaholm/Ekedalens SK, Falköpings KIK, IFK Mariestad, Jula BK/MBK, Ulvåkers IF, Skövde AIK, Skövde Kvinnliga IK, IFK Falköping FF and Våmbs IF).
